I was really glad my mother gave away all of her fabric before she passed. It went to where she wanted and my brother and I did not have to throw it away, due to our inability to get rid of it. She did make all my shirts for over fifty years.

I plan on dying first. One of the several reasons.
Your spouse and I are kindred spirits. I have a large fabric stash as well.

That's maybe 10% of her fabric. I accompanied her today to pick up yet more. An E-Bay auction win. "Local pickup only /cash only. I'm not normally requested to ride shotgun as that's a Zorak the Wonder Dog's function. I was also told to "bring a gun". The guy was not your typical seller. Very "unpleasant". He even said we didn't pay him enough for the stuff. Anywho , English/Scotish wool blends. Really nice stuff for suits, etc. Filled up our Outback.

Linda is the "sewing Matriarch" of our extended family clan. We've a niece going into her junior year at college, who's going to need some high-end business attire. Linda and she will sew custom suits from this stuff, I'm sure.
