The only thing I miss about decorating for holidays: the entertainment my cat got from breaking things...
We've no children or grandchildren visiting for the Holidays. Just two cats & a big dog. So, I took a high resolution digital picture of a nicely decorated tree, and then printed it out on a huge plotter at work. (This was years ago). The "plot" is four feet wide and seven+ feet tall & photo quality. Linda gets it out every year now, and hangs it on the curtains in our living room. That's the extent of decorating the tree for us.
@bigpawbullets I love it!

Posted by LaurenIt's my first grand's fifth Gotcha Day and this is her in the arms of my daughter as they drove home.
Posted by LaurenIt would be warmer for us both if he'd get on my lap, but it has to be his idea - though he still likes to stay close.
