I wouldn't bother to do so, but she will NOT leave me alone until I do! I just give in. She still bugs me tho. Furry fart.

I bought my kitties a feeding tower because the younger one kept pulling food out of the bowl and playing with it until she knocked it under the stove. There must be four cups of food under the stove. With the food tower they have to work to get the food, and they actually eat it.

Frankly, the two bowls are for my convenience. SHE may think she's starving to death, but I know she's not. And there are two kitties. But you may be on to something. Maybe switch to one bowl.
@GinaKay One bowl for more than one cat can sometimes be problematic. I knew a neighbor cat that would get very neurotic and anxious during the winter from being kept inside all the time. So he would compensate every winter by pushing the other cats away from the food and eating all of it himself like a pig. He always put on a lot of winter fat...He was very spoiled and privileged compared to the other cats and he knew it.
Well we all know the picky thing.

Funny thing is, she hasn't figured out my slight of hand ... of course the next day I switch bowls and put the newly filled bowl on the right, and the day-old bowl to the left. I keep hoping she will decide the fresher food tastes better. But no. It must be the left bowl. lol.
