Saw this in my head as I was waking up this morning so I decided to paint it. Hadn't done a painting in a while. Been too busy to be inspired. I like this one, but then it made me a little sad because it made me think of Kitty, my old man I had to put to sleep in March. Guess it's his now.

Being in my late seventies, I have memories of dozens of cats and dogs and other pets that I've outlived during my lifetime. Trying not to feel sad about it takes some energy. They've all given me so much joy that I should be happy to have shared it with them. I remember their names too.
