Mine too. It's as if he heard a can opener. Hey . . .
You are out of TP! Hahaha
@EyesThatSmile Bet he has a bidet. . .
We were having our 'shared experience' the other day and Heath threw up in front of my toes.
I just looked at him as he put his paw up on my knee and I said "You feeling better now?". (Hey it wasn't the carpet for once).
Just try to close the door with him on the wrong side when he wants in - then the fishing from the other side with the paw starts.... That's not at all distracting...
Cats are small predators , and they think from that perspective . You are their alpha , and you are at risk . when you're eliminating . It's also why they like to be in boxes . It's safer if you have your back up against a wall .
My first boston terrier had to be anyplace I was. But if I sat on the commode he would turn facing the door and not move until he heard it flush. Even if I had sat on the lid to talk on the phone. Sweetest thing. Like 'I'll give you privacy but I will be here if you need me'.
That is sweet.
@EyesThatSmile I've had many dogs thru the years. He's the only one to do that.
My pup will not enter the bathroom at all. None of the four bathrooms. Interesting.
I live alone, I leave the door open most of the time. Sometimes they watch me, often they don't. The younger one likes to try to investigate the shower while I'm using it. That usually doesn't last too long, her investigating that is. My showers... one of life's pleasures. Sometimes they're both in the same room I am, and sometimes I walk into my bedroom to find them asleep on my bed. I call them freaks, they don't seem to mind.
mine new boy cat sits outside the shower door when I am in using it and won't move. When I step out and squeeze past him and the drip finally stops, he walks in and takes drink....(there are water bowls all available in the house).
Yes, no way can I do anything in that room without supervision.
She just wants to make sure you are doing it properly.

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
