So it is spring, and I have been working out in the yard. In the raised beds, I removed the mulch, dumped in compost, and raked it evenly out, then turned it into the soil, and then replaced the mulch. Now, the garden is ready to plant veggies.
The cats on the other hand are thinking, "Wow, he revitalized teh big litter boxes for us."
I do container gardening in pots on my balcony. The cats almost never harrass them.
Don't know why you said all that stuff at the beginning. All you had to say was the last sentence and we'd have understood perfectly.
The point was I put in a lot of work... and the cats think it was all just for them.
I tired to put up a photo too, but I guess the size was too large or something. It would have really helped seeing a six by twelve foot planter full to the rim with fresh dirt and mulch all leveled out. It does look a bit like giant litter box.
Yeah, I remember the sand box I had when I was a kid............

Posted by LaurenIt's my first grand's fifth Gotcha Day and this is her in the arms of my daughter as they drove home.
Posted by LaurenIt would be warmer for us both if he'd get on my lap, but it has to be his idea - though he still likes to stay close.
