LINK Biden, Bernie forces clash during convention meeting - POLITICO
Biden has praised (WAY more than once and not in the distant past, recently) working with Republicans and even Segregationists, yet he and his team refuse to work with Sanders' team on his ridiculous "task force" or Sanders' supporters and other progressive leaning groups.
This may not seem like much to those who support Biden, but this is going to hurt him.

I usually agree with you but not this time. Here is a link to the Biden-Sanders Unity Taskforce Recommendations. I read it and concluded there are many compromises which create the most progressive policy platform since FDR. Have you read it? This documented evidence incorporates a lot of Sanders' and Warren's ideas.

You are talking about the most diverse and complicated political party in the history of politics. It is always this way in this party. The far left of this party is starting to mimic the far right. Their "my way or no way" attitude is childish and not how democracy works. It won't hurt Biden. Whatever small number of Progressives do the old "watch this, fuck me" vote will not be enough to negate the Republican crossover vote or the voters, some 100,000,000 folks, who were eligible but did not vote in 2016 who are suffering from Trump fatigue.This election will not be close. It is the Senate I worry about.

I am still looking forward to the Democrats t do something really stupid and give the presidency back to the cheeto. I do think the Senate will turn Democrat so he can be impeached again and removed from office. Once this is done the VP can be impeached and the Speaker of the House allowed to be president. Then the shit show can start and we can get these people into the jail they deserve.

We would get there faster by just electing Biden and a democratic Senate. Pelosi as president would be wonderful because she definitely knows how to get things done but she's also a moderate. I actually think she is a progressive but understands the difference between the possible and the perfect.It's sad to me that the progressives of which I think I am one do not understand the way things work well enough to manipulate it as well as the moderates. Parliamentry procedure and coalitions will always rule Congress and the party structure. Screaming about unfairness will not change that; learning to use it to your advantage will.
They worked together Extensively on the Dem Platform, just recently.....Bernie people were extremely happy with how well they were heard & how much they got to contribute.

And they got next to nothing. No med4all, no cannabis legalization, no forgiveness of loans, no green new deal, still taking bribes from billionaires...
What did they even get? I don't see a compromise, I see one side totally ignoring the other.

Both of those were major policy proposals in the Sanders campaign.

@RoboGraham yeah, well, I thought putting in cannabis (for one thing!) would be a mistake, even though I would be fine with it, because it would lose a lot of votes & give drump a Huge hammer to nail dems the wall....wait until we have a dem pres & dem congress & then move.....platforms are just talking points that hopefully include a lot of voters....
Legalization is enormously popular. Even a majority of republicans want it- [rollcall.com]
The only reason that the leaders of both parties still are not supporting legalization is because they are bought by the pharmaceutical corporations.

There are parties that support positive policies such as this but for some strange reason, most people continue voting for the only two that don't support it.

Currently my state id has the wrong address so I don't know if I'll be able to vote by mail. I don't know if I'll even try. My state, MN, is safe for biden so I don't know if it even matters. I'd have to hold my nose if I voted and even then I'd feel guilty voting for biden.
@SeaGreenEyez I have seen quite a few live interviews and find No "cognitive decline " (iunlike my Mom, who took a long time to do it, no help possible) whatsoever....sometimes pauses to get stuttering under control, or think (unlike an OrangeIdiot I could mention!) . And sometimes obvious tiredness, which as a person in his age range, I certainly understand. But cognitive problems? Haven't seen Any! Citations welcome......
