Hey - just discovered that Mitch McConnell and I both took basic at Fort Knox, Kentucky - at the exact same time. The only difference being, that he was able to get the hell out and not have to serve, because he somehow was able to get himself a deferment, just a few weeks later. Imagine that! I don't know enough about Mitch before he became Cromwell. But, it sounds fishy. So many scenarios. Who controlled him early?
