Reich seems to have conveniently forgotten how he aided Slick Willie in his betrayal of the working class.

You're right. I misread the article. Instead of what I thought, he makes the case for selling out the most vulnerable to give the white conservatives power over the Democratic party, which they already have.
Personally I think they focus so much on minority issues, they screw up all the majority issues they could use to get overwhelming support.
Democrats don’t have a ‘white working-class’ problem. They have a ‘working-class problem’, which progressives have been reluctant to address honestly or boldly. The fact is that Democrats have lost support with all working-class voters across the electorate.”

I never thought of you as an upper class old school feminist, but that's what you are. I believe putting minorities first is a hallmark of modern feminism. So much for another neoliberal democrat.
@Theresa_N This is why we can’t have nice things because of people like you who start calling names and being divisive. The second paragraph was lifted from your article. Harnessing the power of majority is what FDR did to great success.
You don’t know me and I’m nowhere near upper class anything and don’t really care what you think of me but putting minorities first just alienates majorities as we have seen and dilutes the power of women as majority which will lift all boats. If you are too stupid to see that focusing on representation for the 1% while ignoring the 51% is a losing proposition, I feel sorry for you.
