I'm 62. Bernie was the first candidate that I ever got to vote for who really represented my beliefs. He was my dream candidate. Now, it is time to look for new, younger leaders. Women. People of color. I'm fine with establishing new social democratic norms within the basic framework of the Democratic party. FDR did it, so can we.
And I will always go for the lesser of two evils. "Less evil" is a critically important trait.
The best darn thing for me in the whole run-up to the primary was that bird landing and hanging out with Bernie. Couldn't have found a better metaphor if you had to. We fucked up HARD not nominating him, IMO.
@Closeted Only vote from me for Hillary was in the final election because nobody else stood a chance. And, well, she got the popular vote and needed fewer votes than Stein got in two other states for a win. Ugh.
