A note on Presidents and inclement weather. I never would have thought I could distinguish one President from the next by "Remember when we had a President who could open and close umbrellas?"

When Obama was first elected, I was still a good Christian right-winger. But from the middle of his campaign, I recognized his diplomatic skill and the man had my full respect in spite of disagreeing with his platform.
It's that fuckin' "do" of his. He's paranoid that his hair will get wet, and likely move the giant comb-over into a highly unflattering new style !
Like the witch in the The Wizard of Oz - he'll likely melt. Difference is, I really liked the witch ...
