I'm certainly not an advocate for any apocalyptic event, just thought the article was an amusing distraction from all the other chaos ...
I thought it was the culmination and alignment of cycles of the Mayan calendar and had nothing to do with external dating, Julian, Gregorian, Islamic or otherwise!
