Troll Head, the new name I'm giving to individuals that for no reason make rude or nasty comments about other people Online.
Their MO is the same, all-mouth topped off with a Troll Head devoid of intellect or substance.

When a Troll Head is confronted, they generally pop like a balloon and shrivel up into nothing.

Here's my POV on that.
It's name calling. It's what you do when you don't have a good reason to dislike what someone says..so you just "name call" them. It's what you do when you have no good counter-argument.
But those of us who've been educated in the process of debate categorize the "troll heads" and other name callers to the lowest strategy or form of debate.
And If you've ever participated in a debate on an academic level - you learn that name-calling is not only the "lowest strategy" - it's what those with no data, no support for their POV do.
Those of us who've taught "Debate" give those who name call an "F" for their effort. If they continue to name-call (or be "troll-heads as you suggest) they are asked to withdraw from the class...they're showing no effort to change, or adapt to the style of academic debate.
Allow me to share the "Debate Pyramids". I'm sharing several that I've used. I hope you find them useful.

I really don't care and am not interested in your "Debate Pyramids? And you were not privy to the conversation and it was a response on here that made up things that were not true about me. Leave it at that. You can like or not like which is what I do on here. And I do not comment on the first comment a person makes unless they do what you are doing. I like or no like. And I stand by my comment. And was somewhat meant to be on the humorous side. Don't waste your time on me, please. Keep it simple for both of us. Thank you
