Seems that as gardeners we have the upper hand when it comes to being happy with life.
Of course, we were made to engage with our planet.
Nothing to do with the main point, but I love the way they use the term "before times" in the article.
I have heard that lots of times before and there is truth to that BUT I would be very happy if I had a manageable garden(s). In order to fill my socializing needs requires time and help elsewhere. Letting go of something you have worked really hard for is demoralizing but trying to hang on is exhausting.
