We had stormy weather last night, so I cut the Lillies and some Hosta flowers to enjoy them in the living room. Their scent is perfuming the air.
The bouquet with Zinnias and Sunflowers is already a few days old. I used to be very reluctant to cut my flowers from the garden, but I am more indoors now.
I was never big on cutting flowers and bringing them indoors....until this past year. Everyone always asked why I never had any cut flowers inside.....I just felt like they just seemed to be more at home out in the gardens and (I suspect) I wasn't big on watching them wilt and drop leaves or petals making a more or less constant mess that I needed to clean up. Aha...now I got it - I'm lazy.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
