I don't understand the problem.
How long are your pieces?
Are you running across the ditch or on its length?
I'm lining the ditch I dug as a permiter around the garden bed. Its shallow. Roughly 8" wide and a few inches deep. I'm filling it in with mulch.
Is a chop saw a drop saw? What is the material? Knitted nylon or aluminium? If nylon a pyro knife is easiest as it tends to self seal thematerial after the blade had cut through. I recently use one to make rope holes in shade cloth. I then reinforced the melted hole with melted plastic glue.
A Drop Saw is a good description of it Bear. You lower the blade onto the work piece. The material is probably knitted nylon or some other plastic derivative. The blade did slightly melt the stuff.
@bigpawbullets job done now?

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
