My amaranth is over 7 feet tall, I couldn't get any of the really good pictures to post. but it looks like I'll have seeds for next year.

water and rich soil. I've had them over 12 feet tall in my front yard, I'm happy to just get a couple of established plants. I dumped over 10 tons of compost in the area a few years back.
@glennlab sounds good. Your comment reminded me of this story of "a pile of shit over Cheshire"-
I would have preferred his tale of blowing up the local aristocracy's cesspit when the local villagers turned up with buckets hoping to collect some of the aristocratic poo believed to have amazing properties being reputed to be derived from caviar, venison & salmon.

I had three volunteers come up after a dismal year last year. I was sure that I would need to find seeds again, then wham I got plants.
