To all my gardening friends be carful out there in the hot sun this summer. The heat is a killer. My potassium runs a little low. I’m a big guy and I swet like one. Today clearing the cogongrass I got hotter then I thought and didn’t drink enough. Started getting horrible cramps all over my body all at the same time. Amy my girlfriend got me Gatorade 3 potassium pills 1 magnesium pill and a banana the craps are easing up. So be careful out drink lots of water and if you swet like me keep potassium pills and Gatorade or bananas on hand.
High of 31C Saturday but patchy clouds and Sunday 5.6C, rain and hurricane force winds. So, heatstroke followed by hypothermia; gardening here is always a challenge.
Be careful out there!
I usually am. I just was getting so much done I didn’t think about how much I was sweating

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
