Robinette update:
All four have departed the nest. I had to keep moving them out of the path of the lawnmower two days ago. Now, they're just hanging around the patio, looking for the parents to feed them:

I love watching then when, to all appearances they are adults but they run around behind the parent bird with their wings out a their mouths open, making their best begging noises.

They grew up fast. really filling out. Are you sure you didn't bring them inside for treats of spaghetti and meatballs sometimes? Spaghetti is a lot like worms, right? lol

I admit nothing. I deny everything.
I will not sign the papers.

Oh how sweet the little birdies are

Very nice to see, I like Robins even if they do bully some of the smaller birds. I saw the hatchling from the nest under my eaves had fallen out of the nest the other day, a larger garter snake was hauling it away into the bushes so I guess it survived the fall but not for long. Nature has no waste.
