I've just opened a group I feel , may be related , to gardening . I'm interested in home remodeling . I feel a lot of the gardening I do deals with plantings around my home . Sometimes , there are conflicts . For instance , when my contractor kindly moved my planters , so they would do their work without causing damage to the plants or dealing with a tripping hazard , the plants suddenly were getting way too much sun , and I wasn't getting to them frequently enough to keep they properly watered . My poor plants complained , by drooping and turning brown . Not to mention , one of the cats , has dug an hole and naps in the aspargus planter.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I hope you are able to find the time to nurse your plants back to health. I put fist sized or larger rocks evenly spaced across the exposed soil around my plants to prevent my dogs from digging around them, it's worth trying!

Great suggestion ! I pulled the planters to a more shaded area , and the plants seem to be feeling a little better . I watered them , then , naturally , it rained .
