I've just opened a group I feel , may be related , to gardening . I'm interested in home remodeling . I feel a lot of the gardening I do deals with plantings around my home . Sometimes , there are conflicts . For instance , when my contractor kindly moved my planters , so they would do their work without causing damage to the plants or dealing with a tripping hazard , the plants suddenly were getting way too much sun , and I wasn't getting to them frequently enough to keep they properly watered . My poor plants complained , by drooping and turning brown . Not to mention , one of the cats , has dug an hole and naps in the aspargus planter.
I hope you are able to find the time to nurse your plants back to health. I put fist sized or larger rocks evenly spaced across the exposed soil around my plants to prevent my dogs from digging around them, it's worth trying!
Great suggestion ! I pulled the planters to a more shaded area , and the plants seem to be feeling a little better . I watered them , then , naturally , it rained .
