Pictures of what I have canned so far. 26 quarts and 12 pints of hot spicy pickles, and today just finished the 7 quarts of green beans. I should get 7 more today but I have to breakup and clean more beans.

How many pickles did the pickled man pack in the pickle jars

I so admire your industry!

HippieChick58 Level 9 July 9, 2018

So, we can safely assume that the ONLY pickles you like are hot & spicy? Nice work!

MissKathleen Level 9 July 9, 2018

I like dill pickles too. But it's hard to find good hot and spicy pickles, and my whole family loves them too.

WOW! Good goin!

That’s a lot of pickles. But my family would go through that in under 6 months. My stepdaughter will sit and eat a entire jar in one sitting. But then again so will I. Lol

Donto101 Level 7 July 9, 2018

You're right it's not enough, I will probably do 14 more quarts of pickles.

You are now definitely off the chrimbo card list!

Thank goodness, I hate getting junk mail.

Those pickles look delicious! smile009.gif

Damn you're a busy man. I have never canned anything. But, I've eaten things other people have canned.

Alvinsmama Level 8 July 9, 2018

That's great! You will be set for awhile!

This all looks so yummy, you're going to be enjoying these all winter long. Back in the early 90s we had a big Garden and I canned over 300 quart jars of food, it lasted us all winter.

Sheannutt Level 9 July 9, 2018

I don't have that many jars, Wish I did.

@kenriley over here op shops and garage sales are the best valued suppliers as people don't do it and old timers are dying off.

Wonderful. They will be nice with cheese in winter.

Ellatynemouth Level 8 July 9, 2018

Yes they will.
