Spring in the Midwest really is quite lovely. I'm hanging out in the backyard enjoying a hot cup of coffee and the gorgeous morning. The air is full of the sweet perfume of lilacs.....

I moved from the KC area to Omaha about 15 years ago. KC is about a week ahead of Omaha in the arrival of spring. Thanks for the pictures, they are a good reminder of what I have to look forward to up here. I love lilacs!
