Having another cup of coffee. The air is heavy with the scent of lilac. Playing Cake on my speaker. About to scrub up the chairs. Lovely day to be unemployed really.

We need enhanced protectivity, not excessive productivity, peaceful, ecological games, not warful, toxic games. Terralife is endangered. #terraprotectivity #protectivitybeforeproductivity

Seems like a very peaceful day - I fortunately/unfortunately work in retail. Nuff said........

@AmiSue well that sucks.

I have a large lilac and yes they are nice and fragrant. But right now what I see is another (of many) future pruning job.

You are being too negative towards your garden. We need to change your mind set somehow

@Zoohome My negative feelings have come from having 3 gardens and an orchard which was a joint effort (mostly hers, though). I want to keep them going and looking nice but it is impossible especially if I want a life. Every year I have to let some part of it go (maybe not so much negative as sad). I didn't mention this giant Chestnut and it's baby that takes a great deal of work. Now I am focused on the front and parts of the side gardens. Maybe that's why I prefer indoor plants, No weeds and little pruning.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
