Look at these roses!
While visiting Albuquerque and we went to Sandia Peak Tramway. Fun place, nice gardening and they have some plants with identification.

Looks like fun! Must be nice growing roses someplace where nights cool off and that blackspot is less of an issue!

Exactly! The roses here are full. Super green and loaded with flowers. I haven't seen one single black spot. I'm in AZ now and the roses are marvelous. I wish I could clip some and take home.

The only problem with lots of beautiful roses , is weeding , can b=really be a sticky wicket .

I don't think they fight weed here as much as I fight in Florida.

Hope you're having fun. Lots more to come.

We sure are.
Now at the National museum of nuclear science and history. 😬

@Zoohome The munchkin should really enjoy that, your dad too but for many different reasons.

@glennlab exactly. One was fascinated by the airplanes and bombs and the other was all over the interactive experiments. 😂

@Zoohome bet I can guess which is which, I have to admit, I was the bombs and airplanes myself.

@glennlab now heading to painted desert and petrified forest. A lot of construction on i40 and we are a couple hours behind schedule. But it's all good. 😄

@Zoohome Summer is construction season. The best of petrified forest is at the southern gate, but there is a ton to see there.

@glennlab that place is incredible. The amount of petrified trees is unbelievable. There will be more trees showing up as the layers go down.
That is a park worth visiting

@Zoohome It is really great for a "drive thru" national park, I thought you would like it. You have a ton left to see in the next few days.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
