I have mentioned before I like unusual plants. A very unusual plant is blooming now. It's known as the Angel's Fishing Rod.

Don't think I've seen these before .
My closest friend lives in Seattle and is a landscape architect. He is always look for unusual plants for our area. I even had a Palm Tree in my yard and this variety is all over the city. The do look out of place but I love them. There are a few on the island but our winds can really beat them up.
