YUM! YUM!
Except for the bacon, everything in tonight's supper came from my yard/garden. There was 80g of Siberian kale, 8g of purslane, 5g of asparagus, 42g of lambs quarters, 86g of daylily blooms/buds, a clove of garlic and 2 Tbsp of chopped onion. All sauteed in a pan with 3 strips of chopped bacon. Could have stuck with 2 bacon but when I got all the greens in the bowl, the appearance was daunting (note my hand for reference) so added a third. Once cooked, the quantity was much more "meal friendly". The plate the mix is on is 8" across.
Flavor, EXCELLENT! Calorie intake, 287, less than half what I got last night from a DQ cheeseburger and half an order of fries. WIN-WIN!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
