My organic farmer makes a good return out of second, third and fourth croppings from side shoots.
I have also found that broccoli leaf here is the nearest tasting green to English green cabbage that I have come across in Australia. The strange tbing it is only the store bought product and not my organic farmers leaves that have flavour. A fact I find very strange as all his veg tastes ten times better than the supermarket stuff!
