I got 60 Anise Hyssop into 4" pots, 192 Milkweed cells, 30 Golden Alexander and 148 Fennel cells
That’s awesome!
@Leafhead I may have to use that trick. The birds have gotten ripe all my blueberries. I really don’t care this year my plants are still small so there isn’t that many. I went ahead today and picked the rest of the green ones so the plant could put all it’s energy into growing bigger than into fruiting. Will have to look for a plush monkey for my grapes though lol.
Didn't know Chicago had it's own fig. However, I see you have a "mosquito plant" (citronella geranium) in the background. I have one of those, although mine is a lot stringier than yours. It needs some careful pruning but not sure about doing it. So, it just wanders in random directions.
Rented a place a few years ago that had a 70foot tall fig tree. First time that I had had fresh figs in abundance. Beautiful.
How veryappropriate for Earth Day. Now I wonder if I can grow figs here in Zone 5.5.
I believe there some hardy figs you can grow in zone five if not you can grow them in pots.
The Chicago fig. Will grow in zone 5
@Donto101 Thank yu! The greenhouses are open today for the first time. I will look for a fig treet!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
