That looks good! What did it taste like?
the atheist vegan version of "heaven" LOL super yummy!
I was thinking that a B&B might be something to do during the summer months while I was watering the flowers and the new grass seed this morning. I designed this new house as two seperate and self contained units so it would be a pretty straight forward matter for me to rent out the upstairs unit as a private hotel suite with a view out over the river and fresh flowers and veggies from the garden. How do you find it as a B&B operator?
Like everything else...there is good and bad. Great guests, good guests and super needy - angry - entitled - asshole guests. I book privately plus also through AirBnB (I'm a "Superhost" !!), VRBO, and Trip Advisor. If you are really serious, I would love to help you set up a basic AirBnB account and get started. AirBnB is the easiest and most user friendly way to start (IMO), and you have a lot of control over your listing and calendar. I get a bonus for recruiting new hosts -- which I will be happy to split with you if you sign up. IM me when you decide to take the leap!
@SkotlandSkye Thanks, I would like to think that I will be done in another month but since my work crew consists only of me, myself and I it is unlikely that I will be ready until the fall when the leaves change colour. I will take you up on that offer.
Do your BnB guests eat from your garden? That would be such a great business model!
yes...they are free to use anything from all the gardens...from herbs and peppers to squash and watermelon
@SkotlandSkye I knew I liked the way you think? I hope your guests do too!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
