Good morning!
. 88" of rain over the last two days has caused a growth spurt out there. This flower went unnoticed last evening as we were strolling through our habitat, enjoying a glass of Pino Grigio, and counting lightning bugs. But! Here it is this morning! Anyone able to enlighten me on what it is?

Basic Oriental poppy. They are easy care and look after themselves, and like other poppies do not to like to be moved somewhere else.

I'm sure it is a poppy. It's lovely, what a great gift the birdies have delivered to you.
