I know this is probably the wrong forum to espouse this but I have never understood why the "coloured" community holds a belief in the bible. The bible supports slavery and actually explains how to enslave your fellow man. Considering how they were treated for hundreds of years you'd think they would have more sense.

I am going to say something judgmental (shocking, I know!). That pastor did that person a favor, unwittingly, by showing his true colors of judgmentalness. Who needs to hang around in a congregation that devalues them? Now if someone else would just kindly point that person in drag somewhere more accepting, ....perhaps a UU Fellowship.

What about the undergarments? Are those checked? Especially the pastor's.

I would hope he'd lose his entire congregation. But I'm betting there is no oversight of any kind. And who knows if they have minds of their own?

I saw shaming done live in a Catholic Church. I though it was nuts then.
