Well, all the results are in and now I get to learn how to live more effectively with these results.
My genetic test results came in and I have a fairly common genetic disorder called Klinefelter's syndrome where instead of being an XY male I'm an XXY male. In addition we have pretty conclusive proof that I also suffered my whole life from undiagnosed Asperger’s. Which explains my lack of interest in anything in general if it's not specifically something I'm obsessed with at the moment. My memories of childhood are doomed to be negative because children that don't pay attention are bad children. Bad children have to be punished. But the first time I watched Star Trek and heard that they traveled faster than the speed of light the first thing I looked up was the speed of light. I only looked it up once and it committed itself to memory at 186,282.396 miles per second give or take 7 ten thousandths of a mile. I have a head full of numbers like this and at similar precisions. I also recently owned up to suffering from life long annoying notions of gender dysphoria that come and go in an upsettingly inconsistent way all my life. What I mean is the dysphoria manifest differently in my fifties than the way it did in my teens.
I'm posting this because I have no one to tell any of this to. I feel utteraly alone, and I want to know if others relate. It's ok to have a unique perspective, but when you're the only person you can share that perspective with, well it just seems to be a huge waste of insights and experience that others could benefit from. I want to know about your experience too, it's healthy for us to share. It certainly beats transgender depression and despair, concepts that I'm not unfamiliar with.
