They were proven to be wrong for wanting to enslave a group of human beings. They got their ass kicked and lost. What are they so proud about? The are proud of being on the wrong side of history for their belief of slavery, of being a traitor and of being a loser. I laugh each time they say it's their heritage.

Less than 5 years....Nirvana lasted longer...
Here in Middle Tennessee, I see confederate and US flags together quite often. I have even seen the two combined into one flag. To me, it's a mixed message. Whenever I see a confederate flag, I give it the middle-finger salute. I am totally against racism and slavery.
