Back in 1994, the company I worked for laid off a whole division of employees leaving just a few of us around to "clean things up". My friend Alice and I bought some plastic skeletons and put them in people's offices to symbolize their absence. Management was furious, but they were about to get rid of us anyway and they needed us to finish the expulsion activities.
