Black Chinese Silkie chickens have dark skin when plucked.
In fact the ones with white feathers have dark skin as well.
Even the bones are dark.
When fried it looks disgusting, but it taste like chicken.
I've ate a lot of them, they may have all been hens, but they may have slipped in a cock or two.
They taste the same, black hen and black cock.
