Yeah, some people never seem to get the whole standard thing. I don't own anything but standard vehicles, it keeps stupid people from driving my cars. Your wife sounds like my daughter when I was trying to teach her how to drive. I am surprised the transmission did not abandon ship.

@zorialoki That's cool. I just think standard, except for an actual 'work' vehicle, is needlessly, well, not complicated, but much more crap than it's worth.

@zorialoki For me an automatic does. Less work, less strain on arthritic joints, more 'two hands on the wheel', less chance of spilling my coffee, etc., etc., etc., Just think in most cases it's archaic as hell.
