There are some more vocal, Al Gore, Leonardo DiCaprio, etc. and the scientists of course. Remember the frog in the boiling water story? If you throw him into hot water, he'll jump out but if you start w/ cool water and gradually turn up the heat, he'll let himself cook to death. Sounds like us right now, ignoring the growing problem.

Good analogy
One time an old room mate and I went to a bone yard to get parts. The weather was unusually nice for that time of year. Some dude kept on going 'round tp random dudes saying "how 'bout that global warming". ONE nice day that is unexpected doesn't mean you can throw the global warming theory completely out.
