I always bought flowers on a whim or if I thought my partner could use a little pick me up. I did not do this when I was younger. It was something I started doing in my fifties and was with a woman who loved flowers. I have been with women who couldn't care less about flowers. It can depend on your partner.

I was dating someone for 5 yrs . He brought me flowers less than 5 x , not once remembered my bday and I don't have 5 items in my house to say that was from him ? . I was good to him . It did not mattered .
On nowdays I buy my own flowers every damn Thursday , and I feel happier ???
