So, what is Solar Libre Puerto Rico all about? Is it a company, or a foundation?? I think I just looked or up on Facebook, seem very cool. Will have to read more.

@scurry Yes; I wear the ankh...I love Egyptology...I love how Tut ankh Amon supported the symbol (actually first established by his father.)...as the first monotheistic, non - humanoid god....being the power of the sun on the horizon.

I'm not religious....but Akenhaten (Amenhotep IV Changed his name to Akenhaten where the term "Ankh" came from), Tut's father, was a very peace-loving pharoah....he was first to recognize the "dark Nubians to the south" (black Africa) as legitimate races of people. He ended many wars in the region in his time...and had to leave Thebes to create his own city (Amar na) for fear of being over-taken by the traditionalists. (his son was allegedly "set up" to have that accident that killed him at age 19).

I want to get it as part of a tattoo at some point. I used to wear an eye of Ra; it was pretty cool - the eye was a red jewel and would glow a bit in certain lighting conditions. As I understand it, the Ankh a symbol for Life and Fertility... to which I take it to mean Life and Family. It's not a religious thing for me either, more of a reminder to myself that Life is what you make it (and to make the most of it) and that family (blood or not) is worth fighting for, and will fight you.
I'll take another look at the video - hard to watch at work - but COOL. What a fantastic, worthwhile, and enormous undertaking. Incredible!!
