But, but, but......it isn't. Faith is aspiration, the human capacity to imagine a better future and experience life within that hope. The apostle Paul put it succinctly:
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1)..

faith is the assurance of things hoped for...where's my "assurance". I'm agnostic...a- not...Gnostic..knowing, knowledgeable.
Show me some "assurance"...I see none.
@Robecology Yes, I'm convinced faith is not a mental illness. I'm an agnostic with many years of faith behind me and years of Bible study under my belt. I think the apostle Paul described faith really well.
