Mashed potatoes are also Southern(US) guacamole. My favorite recipe includes real butter, fresh ground Himalayan salt and Tellicherry pepper, sour cream, a bit of ground horseradish, and mashed roasted garlic; sprinkled with chives and more cracked pepper.
