This one is for @KKGator...
the typical Christian answer to which is
"Well you can prove anything with facts!"
The imaginary is always provable with imaginary facts, real facts are a completely different matter.
You use real fact? That's just wrong!
Every time I hear the nonsense repeated, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry that flimflammed sheep still believe it, however I always know my response will be searing sarcasm.
ah well then i guess you would at least be feeding yourself...
@bbyrd009 ah well, at least they would get my point and not think I respect anything they say if they still believe hocus pocus.
@Killtheskyfairy yeh, i tried that for about twenty years myself lol
@bbyrd009 and yet the growing number of non believers shows that some people listen. Church attendance is down. To me, I feel like I have had some part of those statistics.
@Killtheskyfairy i can't help but think that i did too, but a weird thing i'm still learning is that ppl are quite suggestible, until they feel like they are being accosted with the truth, which i got fairly good at. Fortunately for us although that prolly only hardens the opponent, there are many other readers who get the point by that method?
But a secret i am learning is that if you just (sort of) agree with a contender, a la "then it is maybe best if you believe that, for now, nothing wrong with that; at least until you incorporate ___" and similar language, you are at least more likely to...shut them up? lol
@bbyrd009 to me, shutting them or changing their minds are both good outcomes.
@Killtheskyfairy ya...i'm still not very good at it, too much ego still i guess; i notice a couple of ppl have blocked me here
