Just received a notice our governor puts out for people of this state. This notice dealt with new gun regs. We are definitely not in Texass. Maybe others states will follow. To many the gun craziness is like slavery and tobacco.

Sadly wouldn't surprise me that when the GOP controls congress again, they will prohibit laws like this on a Federal level.

@Garban Yes, I believe archery hunting is still carried out and is the only weapon allowed in a few places. I have shot deer with a bolt action sporting rifle and owned a shotgun for small game but it was such a hassle after Dunblane keeping something I rarely used that I gave it up.
I agree that a semi automatic rifle should never be used in hunting.
