Like it or don't. It SCREAMS volumes about how the world sees American gun violence, when an entire country implements a freeze on handguns mere days after 16 mass shootings on American soil within 8 days. 
And before the usual apologists go batshit about their rights under the 2nd Amendment, PLEASE actually READ the 2nd Amendment. It doesn't give license to own guns because you're fearful of the boogeyman from the hood showing up to the suburbs. It guarantees your right to be part of "well organized militia" to protect your freedom *from your GOVERNMENT-. (For some reason, ya' all forget to read passed "the right to bear arms..." )
And PS! 
NO ONE IS COMING FOR YOUR GUNS IN AMERICA. We are just trying to keep your children alive past the ages of 8 to 21.

Remember when us peaceniks wanted a NUCLEAR WEAPONS FREEZE signed by ReaGUN ?? And eventually we got START strategic talks and reducing arms......Trudeau has done evil things in 2 years but FREEZING gun sales is a reverse into the correct direction....Buffalo is a one minute drive across the PEACE BRIDGE from Canada ....Canadians do not have a duopoly Congress they have a 4 party parliament where more voices reject zionist USA global militarism
trudeau is a disingenuous disgrace. trying to emulate australia, NZ & britain which don't have a 3000 mile border with the most gun crazed country in history.
he's just doing the populist thing but knows full well that registered hand gun owners do not account for any of the handgun crimes in canada.
strangely the brainwashed public think it's a great idea to keep the law abiding citizens from acquiring hand guns while the criminal have almost unlimited access to them.

As long as the 2nd Amendment stands there is a stale mate. It must be revised in order to confiscate guns which will not happen until the fascists prevail So don't let them. As long as big government intrudes in our lives, we will need arms to defend our freedom to control our own bodies. Warsaw had gun control in 1939.There is no solution as long as the Constitution retains this Amendment. Repeal or revise? Not likely in the near future. Mental health federal funds was first cut by America's favorite actor/President, Ronald Raygun. Reaping what America has sown. =0{
