No surprise. Revolvers and bolt action rifles are all civilians need for sporting, hunting, and self defense needs. [scientificamerican.com]
So now will we hear that the NRA is suing Scientific American?
magnum 357 or colt python 357 can kill an Elephant. Who hunt elephants in the land of the free? nra spoken in this group. atta boy way to push the agenda for the sale of revolvers!!!
Well, since individual gun ownership is a right now, I think pushing for an end to the sales of magazine fed semi-automatics is realistic. They are the types of weapons that make mass shootings as easy as pulling the trigger a bunch of times.
@Druvius nra speak.
@GipsyOfNewSpain How, exactly, is that NRA speak? What are you proposing?
If you can kill an elephant with a 357, you can probably kill a big ass bear with a knife. Most states (as in body of government) that still allow them to be hunt require something like a 300 Winchester. In my collection, that is the second biggest next to a Browning 50 cal.
