The second amendment does not give total, unrestricted rights to owning guns. As with the religious the issue becomes one of interpretation, theirs and everybody else's. In this case it is a matter of might makes right. In a civilized society it should be a matter of right makes might!

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Notice the first part of the amendment.

"The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled...that the right is not unlimited and does not prohibit all regulation of either firearms or similar devices"

There are more recent decisions than Heller that modify Heller.

The only real solution to the Second Amendment is another Amendment redefining how weapons decisions will be made in the future.

Let us remember... The NRA has 5 million members. America has 360 million people. We outnumber the NRA 360 to 5. We can do whatever we want to do, if we put our hearts & minds to it.
