Except the electronic part... Look at the North Hollywood shootout. 300 LAPD officers couldn't take down 2 people. They had to call in a SWAT team. When that was written, you might be able to make 2-3 shots a minute. I'd really like to know what our founding fathers would say if they were alive.

Some of the founders, especially Jefferson realized the Constitution would be outdated and needed adjusting every 20 years or so. A failure to do this resulted in the civil war. Problem, is it is so complicated to make necessary changes it is hardly ever done.
@JackPedigo It's only complicated to make necessary changes because of Congress critters always wanting to stay in power instead of doing their jobs and moving our Country forward.....
@Redheadedgammy Too many competing interests and not just with politicians but industries as well. Also, things have gotten so complicated one never knows if a change is a good or bad thing.
@Redheadedgammy I think one thing that toppled the Soviet Union and is at play with our democracy is human frailties - greed and need for power.
