Same reason there are "friendly-fire" incidents in combat. You are on high-alert, you see a shape with a gun in front of you, you have a loaded weapon in your hands & are expecting trouble, the story writes itself from there.
@phxbillcee This is what, in my opinion, gives us soldiers with PTDS. People like D. Trump, John Bolton, and Dick Cheney think killing people is something like harvesting carrots. It isn't.
@Dick_Martin Chicken-hawks! Never served & their children are in no danger of serving, but they have no problem sending everybody else into the shit! I despise them!
& this WILL happen, guaranteed!
