I think it would have been an awesome opportunity since their grid was destroyed to build a new system with wind and solar attached to the grid. The place has many areas that are windy and it is a very sunny place. To me it would have been a tremendous way to help our fellow Americans, whose economy has been hit and much of the help has been housing thier residents in our country. I heard on NPR that many were in NYC and the Feds ended their FEMA help housing them, so NYC agreed to pay the bill. It seems we have the technology and resources to react better to storms.
