It is interesting how so many Catholics don't feel the shame of being part of such a tarnished institution. Makes you want to cry for humanity.

Hope Sinead is well, and will make a come back. I've always liked her forthrightness.

Yes, I read this earlier. We all applauded her bravery at the time......we knew she was right. The Pope’s worldwide apology is still falling far short of the mark. They are an organisation running to keep up with public opinion, but falling further behind. He is visiting Ireland at the end of this week and victims’ groups have today rejected his statement as too little to late. A representative said on a TV earlier the time was past for platitudes and action was now called for. After the revelations from the Pennsylvania cases it is now clearer than ever that there has been a colossal coverup by the church on a worldwide scale.
